Hello everyone. My name is Kevin Monson from Alaska, Living and Real estate. And this is my wife Sheila. And we just wanted to touch base with you guys for a little bit today and address a couple of things that are going on. And we all know about the threat and the concern from the Corona virus and the crisis that we’re currently in. And before the crisis it was you know, buy and sell is usual pretty much, but now it’s like people still need to buy and sell but they’re not sure how to go about it. So, I’m going to kind of turn the conversation over to Sheila here. She’s the realtor and she has better insight into that for you guys than I do. And then she’ll let me address the marketing issues and stuff like that. So, what are people asking you?

Yeah, people are asking, they are wondering, is this still a good time to buy and sell? And, absolutely it is the way we are buying and the way we are selling, the way we are doing open houses, the way we are doing showings, the way we are doing, meetings and whatnot has changed for us. It hasn’t been a big change, but for industry-wide, it’s going to change how real estate is bought and sold forever. And for us it’s hasn’t been a big change because of the technology that we have already been implementing. We’re still doing business as usual. So, touch on that technology in the marketing, Kevin.
Okay, well first let me say that, I’m the guy that is behind
the scenes. Um, a lot of, you know, my wife, a lot of you have had transactions
with her, but you’ve never seen me and I’m okay with that.
But I’m, what I do is I come in and make people’s house look really good. And from day one, when I took over the marketing department for my wife, um, I insisted we have the very best, technology that could possibly be had for this industry. Um, so let me give you an example. She gets a listing. I come into your house and I do what’s called a 3D walkthrough tour. Anybody from out of state or anywhere in the world can do it, a tour through your entire house and never step foot in it. That is not brand new here. We’ve had this for a couple of years. We’ve sold properties this way. I have thousands of dollars of aerial photography gear where I go out and I do aerial stills and aerial video of your property and put it all into these amazing videos and then put it on Facebook for people to see from all over the world.
So this is business as usual for me. I mean, I’m not missing a step during this crisis. So the bottom line is, we’re here. We’re doing what we’ve always done. We’re providing what I believe is a, is a better service than just about anybody else out there. Um, that’s really all I have to say. Do you have anything to say Sheila?
Sure. Well with this technology, we can do virtual open houses to virtual showings of anything, whether we have the listing or not. If you’re a buyer out there, use us, call us up and let’s talk. We can do a virtual showing. We have the technology. I have to tell you about this. I literally did an aerial showing of a property through Facebook with my drone. I was on Facebook live for somebody who lives out of state doing an aerial tour of the property. That’s a technology that we app. So, it’s fabulous. I’m excited about it. And one thing, if you know anything about me is, I’m a techie. I love the latest and greatest thing and I try to always keep up on the latest technology when it comes to real estate and, and the tools needed to market your home and for buyers, it only enhances what you’re looking for to and when you’re going to buy a property.
